• The demotion was purely conceptual: the only page that was actually moved (downward) was the root page. That's as close to persistence of location as I could get.
• Adding the home page was necessary, I think, but it wasn't entirely an improvement. I really liked the anonymous nature of the old urticator.net, that there was no name or face attached to it. I imagined the anonymity would disturb others in much the same way that covering up the back cover of a book disturbs me, and I thought that would be a good thing. Now you can see that I'm just some guy from New Jersey.

I didn't do a whole lot of writing this month. Let's see … there's one old favorite, On Work, and one nice mathematical piece, An Additive Measure of Risk. I also finished up some old thoughts about assocation.
