AugustAfter I finished the last batch, I wasn't sure what I wanted to write about next, so I made a quick pass through all my notes and picked out a set of things that seemed to go together (two sets, actually, but that's not important right now). I was thinking the set would become a batch, but now it looks like it will become two, or maybe three.(So, a set is kind of like a topic, but in reverse—a batch has topics, but a set has batches. The most important thing, though, is that a set has a well-defined end.) What's the set about? I'm tempted to say it's about women, but that's not exactly right; better to say it's about men and women. It's clear that Beauty fits that description, but not so clear that Happiness does, unless you know that it grew around the boyfriend story. The batch also contains a few other random things I felt like writing about. They're all pretty short, though, except for Fossilization.
