MarchAnd now for something completely different … I recently realized there was a whole domain that I had a lot to say about, but just hadn't thought of: numbers. So, now it's there, along with some big, juicy essays. And, if you like those, stay tuned, because there are a lot more where they came from, I figure at least twice as many more. Some of them are already in progress. The essays were relatively easy to write, which was a nice change of pace. It was funny, actually … every time I'd start out saying “well, here are some numbers I like, but I have nothing else to say about them”, and then before I knew it I'd be looking at two pages of notes I'd written. The only other new thing is The Matrix Redacted. In case you're wondering, no, I haven't forgotten the set of essays about men and women that I was working on, I've just been busy and/or distracted. Also, those essays are not relatively easy to write. In other news, did you notice that this is essay #500? That was an accident, believe it or not. It's also a good excuse for me to feel like I've accomplished something. Just for fun, let me break the essays down by status.
So, there are 386 things that have actual content … some longer and more worthwhile than others, but not too bad no matter how you look at it.
